9月は全然音楽が聴けてなかった。この月を振り返ると本当にいっぱいいっぱいで、そのせいで音楽を聴けていなかったのか、あるいはそういうときだからこそもっと大好きな音楽を聴くべきだったんじゃないか、と思う。

そんななかたまたま聴いたBaba Stiltz, Okay Kayaの「I Believe In Love」がめちゃめちゃいい曲で何度も聴き返した。”It’s a crazy world/Can’t believe it most of the time/Still, baby/When midnight strikes, we’re feeling fine””I believe in all the silly things”とか、なんだかストレートだけれど刺さっちゃう。LoukemanのSd-2はすばらしいアルバムだけれど、この曲が特に好き。Cydnee with a CはInstagramのプロフィールが「Your favorite Kpop idol loves my music」なのがめっちゃいい。Jane Removerは2003年生まれのアーティスト、ジャケットの写真がいいなと思って気になったけれどJPEGMAFIAとツアーしたりしているみたい。行ったことのないけど勝手に今のシカゴの空気を感じる。MJ Lendermanのこのアルバムは本当に大好きでいっつも聴いてる。ライブよかったなあ。ceroのModern Stepsはこの季節にぴったりだなあと思って、聞きたくなった。

スウェーデンのミュージシャン、DJ Suzyの雰囲気はいまわたしが一番好きな感じ。The CaretakerのAn empty bliss beyond this Worldはアルツハイマー病患者の心を映し出すというストーリーでつくられたコンセプチュアルな作品で、ちょうどジュリー・オオツカの『スイマーズ』を読みながら聴いていた。ドミニカ共和国出身のプロデューサーBoundaryによるアンビエント・テクノや、軍事独裁政権下にあった60年代のブラジルで生まれたバンドOs Mutantesの音楽など。GELLERSは、家で「やっぱりGELLERSはかっこいいね」と話しながらいれた2曲。

好きなアルバムを残していくtumblrをつくりました。本当は言葉も添えていきたいけれど、なかなかできていない。
